You’ll learn how to start AI-School by going to the login page and signing in with Microsoft or Google. Select the correct account and verify your details. After verification, the appropriate permissions will be assigned to you. Next, select the correct environment depending on your school board. After logging in, you can set your own AI preferences. Then you’ll arrive at the AI-School dashboard, where you can get started right away.
What is PII protection?PII protection prevents sensitive personal data from being sent to the AI without control. It does this by checking messages in advance and then allowing, anonymizing, masking, or blocking data by category.
For schools, it is often smart to allow email addresses and URLs, mask sensitive numbers, and anonymize medical information.
You enable this in the admin environment under Privacy Protection, where you choose the action for each category and save it.

The mobile app offers the same core functionality as the web version, but in an interface that is better suited for smaller screens and touch controls. Opening conversations, asking questions, uploading documents, and working with AI on assignments or ideas is therefore faster and more organized.
For students, the app is especially useful on tablets or when used outside of school, for example at home or on the go. In the classroom, its use remains dependent on the policies that a school has regarding devices.
The mobile app can also be practical for teachers, for instance to check something on the go, prepare, or continue working without a laptop.
