What is AI-School?

AI-School is a web application specially developed for schools to learn how to work with AI models. It offers a safe and engaging way to explore the world of Artificial Intelligence in an educational environment.

Key features of AI-School:

  • Access to the most advanced AI models within one application
  • Secure login through the school environment
  • AVG-proof platform for safe use
  • Monitoring and guidance of students
  • Support for teachers with SLO integration
  • Cost-effective solution for AI in education

Logging into AI-School

You can log in to AI-School on the web application. First, you choose the right environment. Then you log in with your Google or Microsoft school account.

Your First Prompt

Immediately after logging in, you'll see a question bar at the bottom of the screen. You can now ask your first question (prompt). Your prompt will appear on the screen and a loading indicator will show. Once the answer is ready, it will appear on the screen. This answer is generated by a language model.

Continuing the Chat

You can then continue chatting with the language model. The message history is maintained. This way, you can 'continue' chatting without having to repeat what you said in previous questions.

Switching Language Model

Unique feature of AI-School

Switching Language Model

AI-School has a unique feature: the ability to switch between language models. We offer different language models, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. This allows you to discover which model you like best. You can also have a favorite model for different applications. You switch to another language model by clicking on the language model selection button to the left of the answer.

Copying or Regenerating an Answer

On the right side of the answer, there are two buttons. With the left button, you can copy the answer. With the right button, you can have the answer regenerated by the same language model. This can be useful if you want to give the model a second chance to deliver a better result.

Generating Images

You can generate images by clicking on the image button to the left of the question bar at the bottom. You'll then see a notification "Image mode is activated". You can now enter a description of the image you want. Two images are always created by a text-to-image model. Here too, you can choose between different text-to-image models, including GPT-image-1, DALL-E-3, and SD3.5.

Chat with Documents

You can chat with documents by clicking on the paperclip button 📎 to the right of the question bar at the bottom. You must first choose a suitable language model, such as GPT 4.0 or Gemini 1.5 Pro. You can upload and select different PDF documents. Once the chat function is on, the contents of documents will be included when answering your questions.

Chat with Internet Sources

You can chat with internet sources by clicking on the internet button to the left in the question bar at the bottom. Once the internet search function is on, a search query will first be performed based on the prompt, and then the results of that search will be included when answering your questions.

Multimodal Question

Some models, such as GPT-4o, support multi-modal input. If this is the case, you can also add images to the prompt.
