What is AI-School?
Who is AI-School for?
AI-School is for schools, school boards, teachers, staff and students who want to use AI safely and manageably in one environment.
Which AI models are available?
AI-School supports multiple language, image, speech and document models. Administrators decide which models are available in the environment. Learn more at AI models.
Can students sign in with their school account?
Yes. AI-School can be connected to Google or Microsoft, allowing users to sign in securely through their school environment.
Can teachers guide students?
Yes. AI-School lets you monitor usage and guide students as they work with AI.
How does AI-School handle data?
How does AI-School support GDPR compliance?
AI-School is designed for educational organisations and includes a data processing agreement, roles, monitoring and technical privacy safeguards. The school remains the data controller and is responsible for its own configuration and use. Learn more at Security.
What data does an AI model receive?
Account data and student records are not automatically added to the selected AI model. However, the model receives the prompt, relevant chat context and any documents or tool results selected by the user. If these contain personal data, the model provider may process it. So avoid entering personal data unless it is necessary.
What does the DPIA say about AI-School?
The DPIA was carried out by Grip IT Consultancy in April 2026 and approved on 20 May 2026. Within the scope of the assessment, the average privacy risk was rated low and no high residual risks were identified. The data protection officer reviewed and approved the DPIA and this public-facing copy. A DPIA is a snapshot in time; schools can request the report.
