New: Welcome Emails and Better Onboarding

A good start is half the battle, especially when introducing a new digital tool in the classroom or school team. To help schools with this, AI-School has significantly expanded its onboarding options. From now on, administrators can send new staff members and students a welcome email directly from the admin environment. This way, they immediately know how to log in and where to go with questions.

In addition, it is now possible to set up a mandatory onboarding video for users the first time they log in. Think of a short introductory video explaining the school’s vision on AI, or a practical explanation of how AI-School helps with lesson preparation. Users must watch this video in full before they can start using the app for the first time.

Setting it up is very easy. In the admin environment, go to the Onboarding tile. Here you can add text and select a video that has been prepared in advance in video management and marked as suitable. Because staff members and students use the app differently, you can set up a separate welcome message and video for both groups. You simply send the welcome email by selecting users under staff or students and clicking the email button in the toolbar.
