New models for Claude and Mistral

Haiku 5.5 and Large 4 replace the previous models in AI-School.

In AI-School, Claude Haiku 5.5 replaces Haiku 4.5 as the fast, affordable Claude model. It is smarter than its predecessor, costs about ten times less per token, and has a context window of 1 million tokens. The model also supports image input, reasoning, and tools such as web search.

Mistral Large 4 replaces Large 3 as the leading model for European AI. Large 4 reasons before giving an answer. You can follow its reasoning steps in the Model is thinking panel. In the desktop chat, you can choose between Low and High reasoning for Mistral.

Large 4 is also used to create documents with European AI, via the document server. This can be useful, for example, when developing teaching materials or a document for the school team.

Did you have Haiku 4.5 or Large 3 saved as your model? That choice will automatically switch to the new model. You don’t need to change anything.

Choose the model that suits your task: Haiku for quick answers, and Large 4 when you want more in-depth reasoning or to create a document with European AI.
