Access Hours
For school environments, you can configure time windows during which students are allowed to access AI-School. Outside these windows, students cannot log in or chat.
Functionality
- Students only access hours apply exclusively to student accounts; staff are never blocked
- Configurable per day set separate times for each day of the week
- Flexible times set a start and end time using a slider
- Automatic blocking students who try to log in outside the configured window receive a clear notification

Activating access hours
The Access Hours tile is located in the Security & Privacy area of the management environment.
- Go to the management environment
- Select the Access Hours tile
- Enable the Activate access hours toggle
- Adjust the start and end times per day using the slider
- Click Save
When the toggle is disabled, there are no time restrictions for students.
Important notes
- Access hours are based on the student's local time. A student travelling abroad will be subject to the configured hours in their local time zone.
- Settings take effect immediately after saving.
- Students who are already logged in are not logged out when access time expires; only new logins are blocked.
