Restrictions
In the Restrictions step of the environment, you set daily usage limits for images and chat messages. These quotas help control costs and promote responsible use.
Soft and Hard Limits
A soft limit warns the user but does not block usage. A hard limit stops new messages or image generations until the limit is reset, for example on the following day.
- Open Environment in the management environment.
- Go to Restrictions.
- Set the number of images and chat messages.
- Optionally enable Set Hard Limit.
- Complete the environment configuration.
Other Types of Policy
The different tiles each have their own purpose:

The old Features section is no longer in Restrictions. Manage function rights centrally via the Features tile, including targeted exceptions.
