Subprocessors
The AI-School DPIA is leading for the list of subprocessors that fall within the processing in AI-School. Other suppliers or internal administrative systems are not included here because they are outside the scope of processing in AI-School.
Google Cloud
We use Google Cloud for hosting, database, cloud storage and backend services via Firebase.
Processing takes place in the Netherlands and Belgium. There is no transfer outside the European Economic Area for this processing.
AI-School uses the Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum. Google Cloud is ISO 27001 certified.
Google Identity Toolkit
Google Identity Toolkit is used for authentication and tenant management.
Sign-in uses Single Sign-On with Microsoft or Google. During sign-in, only the existence of the account at the identity provider and whether AI-School has an active account with the same e-mail address are checked. No additional personal data is exchanged in this process beyond the e-mail address.
Processing takes place in the Netherlands and Belgium. There is no transfer outside the European Economic Area for this processing.
Google Cloud Vertex AI / Gemini
We use Google Cloud Vertex AI for Gemini models.
Prompts are submitted anonymously to the selected AI model via a general account. The AI model does not receive personal data of the individual user. If a user nevertheless includes personal data in a prompt or document, that data may be processed by the selected AI model.
Processing takes place in the Netherlands and Belgium. There is no transfer outside the European Economic Area for this processing.
OpenAI
We use OpenAI for GPT models.
Prompts are submitted anonymously to the selected AI model via a general account. OpenAI does not receive personal data of the individual user unless the user includes personal data in a prompt or document.
Processing takes place in Ireland. A signed processor agreement with OpenAI is in place.
Anthropic
We use Anthropic for Claude models.
Prompts are submitted anonymously to the selected AI model via a general account. Anthropic does not receive personal data of the individual user unless the user includes personal data in a prompt or document.
Processing takes place in the United States. A Data Processing Addendum with Anthropic is in place.
Mistral AI
We use Mistral AI for Mistral models.
Prompts are submitted anonymously to the selected AI model via a general account. Mistral AI does not receive personal data of the individual user unless the user includes personal data in a prompt or document.
Processing primarily takes place in Sweden and as backup in Ireland. Since February 2025, processing may also take place in the United States via Google Cloud Platform. A Data Processing Addendum with Mistral AI is in place.
