Outlook Mail
The Outlook Mail integration allows the AI to access your email in Microsoft 365, read messages, and help with email correspondence.
Capabilities
With this integration, the AI can:
- 📧 Read emails - View your inbox
- ✍️ Draft emails - Prepare messages
- 📤 Send emails - Send messages (if enabled)
- 🔍 Search - Find specific emails
- 📁 Organize - Move and categorize
Setting Up
Step 1: Enable the Integration
An administrator must first enable Outlook Mail in the admin panel:
- Go to Admin Panel > Integrations
- Enable Outlook Mail
- Choose which actions are allowed
Step 2: Connect Your Account
As a user:
- Open the Settings in AI School
- Go to Integrations
- Click Connect next to Outlook Mail
- Log in with your Microsoft work or school account
- Allow the requested permissions
Usage Examples
Once connected, you can ask the AI:
- "What important emails did I receive today?"
- "Draft a response to Kim's last email"
- "Search for emails from the HR department"
- "Summarize the thread about the project"
- "Draft a professional follow-up email"

Send Permission
Direct sending is usually disabled by default. Administrators can enable this if needed.

Troubleshooting
No Emails Visible?
- Check that you're connected with the correct Microsoft account
- Verify the integration has read permission
- Check with your IT admin if API access is allowed
Draft Not Found?
Drafts are saved in your Outlook "Drafts" folder. Also check the web version of Outlook.
