SharePoint
The SharePoint integration allows the AI to access documents and files in your organization's SharePoint environment.
Capabilities
With this integration, the AI can:
- 📁 Browse files - View SharePoint libraries
- 📄 Read documents - Access file content
- 🔍 Search - Find documents and pages
- 📊 Analyze - Process content of files
- ➕ Create - Add new documents (if enabled)
Setting Up
Step 1: Enable the Integration
An administrator must first enable SharePoint in the admin panel:
- Go to Admin Panel > Integrations
- Enable SharePoint
- Configure which sites are accessible
Step 2: Connect Your Account
As a user:
- Open the Settings in AI School
- Go to Integrations
- Click Connect next to SharePoint
- Log in with your Microsoft work or school account
- Allow the requested permissions
Usage Examples
Once connected, you can ask the AI:
- "Find the policy documents in SharePoint"
- "What's in the annual report on the intranet?"
- "Search for documents about onboarding"
- "Summarize the latest news from the SharePoint site"
- "Analyze the data in the Excel file on SharePoint"

Permissions = Access
The AI has the same SharePoint permissions as your account. You can only access what you can already access yourself.
Security

- ✅ Compliant with company policies
- ✅ Revocable via Microsoft account
Limitations
- Only accessible sites are visible
- Very large files may not be fully processed
- Real-time co-authoring is not visible
- Some protected content may be inaccessible
Troubleshooting
Documents Not Found?
- Check that you have access to the SharePoint site
- Verify the documents are not in a protected section
- Try searching with different terms
No Access to Specific Site?
Contact your SharePoint admin to request access.
